Commanding 69th Regiment
who died at Trinidad, of yellow fever
on the 24th August 1853


Captain C. J. CARMICHAEL
who just after reaching England from Barbados
died on the 2nd December 1852


Lieutenant H. C. STRICKLAND
who died at Barbados, of yellow fever
on the 14th September 1852


and Surgeon A. B. CLELAND, M.D.
who died at Trinidad of yellow fever
on the 25th August 1853
