In memory of
GEORGE HALL
Tenth and youngest son of WILLIAM HALL of Tully
in the County of Donegall Ireland
of Locust Hall Estate in this Parish
and many years a merchant in Bridgetown
who departed this life on the 12th Septr 1810
Aged thirty four years
and whose remains lie interred within these walls
This stone is erected by his only surviving brother
who can truly say, that in him,
with the most perfect integrity
were eminently combined
active benevolence, lively practical charity
steady efficient friendship and true piety
" The towers must share the builder's doom
Ruin is theirs, and his the tomb:
But better boon benignant heaven
To faith and chaity has given
and bids the Christian hope sublime
Trancend the bounds of Fate and Time
